Considering 1776 Electric Company wants to showcase their patriotism, I knew the colors has to be Red White and Blue.  I found it appropriate to use the official colors of the United States Flag and it was a good choice too. As for the logo, again, I knew it had to shout America! I got a little creative with my designs, trying hard not to create a design similar to a campaign flag. In the end, 1776 Electric Company fell in love with the first design.

The logo they chose had a ‘shredded’ like look to it, inspired by a few examples found on athletic shirts I found.  I felt it gave a strengthening appeal as if the flag had just been through battle but remains intact.

Another request 1776 Electric Company gave me was to create two alternative designs to be used on the sleeve of their shirts and one on the back tall ways. In the end, I produced three logos for the 1776 Electric Company and provided a worksheet of the colors, fonts and different examples of use.
