I have spent most of my life working in guest facing roles like management and sales, but I’ve always had an affinity to the creative process and logical think. It’s these qualities that drew me back to school in my 30’s majoring in both Interactive Design and Web Development. I absorbed all the knowledge Valencia College could give and I continue to teach myself by learning through sites like Team Treehouse and Udemy.
These online resources have provided me a way to build on the great knowledge I’ve learned in school. This summer, I’m taking Udemy courses to learn the MEAN stack of development (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular.js and Node.js).
